The Redesign of the Latvian Labour Force Survey

The Latvian Labour Force Survey (LFS) has been organised since 1995 by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSB). It has been redesigned several times since then. The last redesign was done for LFS 2010.The first section of the paper presents a retrospective view on redesigning the LFS. The second section of the paper describes self-rotating sampling design used in LFS and some other aspects of redesigning the survey.
